In most companies it’s demonstrated that managers do not know exactly what their superior manager in the hierarchy expect from him/her.

Accordingly to studies there could be misinterpretation about the very nature of the goals, the key performace indicators, resources in play to achieve the expected results.

In this situation managers tend to interpret their role as buracrats or as somebody that has to manage a given situation but they do do not become the propulsor of the improvements that bring to achieve the goals.

The lack of clarity bring to a tainted level of motivation in the managers and to a consequent lack of results.
